Job Summary

Responsible for designing, configuring, implementing, and maintaining ESRI based systems and databases to access and store geospatial and construction data. Collaborates with employees and business partners to determine project specifications. Inspects projects periodically to ensure adherence to project specifications. Prepares and maintains project documentation. Identifies enhancements to systems and assists in resolving customer service inquiries. Works with moderate supervision/guidance

Job Description

Core Responsibilities:

Conducts analysis to determine efficiency, equipment economy, and systems operation simplicity.

Prepares prints, special maps, key maps, graphs, diagrams, and graphic drawings for use by other departments. Updates and maintains system maps, keys, and design files.

Plans Coax Networks (brownfield/greenfield, mid-split, relocates, tie points).

Plans Fiber networks (Metro-E).

Assigns and maintains wavelengths and generates Metro-E design package for construction including design, DWG or PDF, BOM, splice matrix, and optical BOM/Design. Uploads design package and P2 and approves design task.

Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.

Regular, consistent and punctual attendance. Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) and overtime as necessary.

Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Additional Skills and responsibilities:

Intermediate knowledge of all ESRI, ArcGIS Pro, FME, AutoCAD, SQL Scripts Creation and Application auto-script creation and maintenance.

Strong knowledge of ESRI Platform setup and architecture including all ESRI tiers and tools

Knowledge of GIS/Design/Serviceability task and tools including understanding Fiber and plant technology, maps and Excel formulas/PPT and data entry

Clear understanding on how all GIS tools, GIS eco-system architecture and structure are connected

Additional knowledge of GIS financials and funding support items

Sufficient in Quality Control reporting/problem solving and resolution experience

Intermediate knowledge and experience in ETL data processing, and use of tools like FME

Conducts analysis to determine efficiency, equipment economy, and systems operation simplicity.

Supports the processing of HFC and Fiber projects.

Facilitates GIS PPT presentation's, demos and trainings and act as project PM

Salary:

Pay Range: $63,128.37 - $94,692.55

Comcast intends to offer the selected candidate base pay dependent on job-related, non-discriminatory factors such as experience.
